Wolfgang – Laser – Rangefinder – 40 meters
The laser has a measuring length of up to 40 meters and is accurate up to 2 mm. The laser can be set to a single or continuous measurement. The laser can also be used to calculate area and volume. The available units of measurement are: meters, feet (ft), and inches (in). The unit of area is available in m2, ft2 and in2, the volume unit in m3, ft3 and in3.
The laser has a battery indicator and works on 2 AAA batteries that continue to work for up to 5000 measurements. Furthermore, the laser indicates possible error codes and historical data can be viewed up to 20 groups.
The laser beam switches off automatically after 30 seconds and the device switches off automatically after 180 seconds.
When measuring the distance within 10 m, the measurement accuracy is 2 mm. When measuring from more than 10 m, the measurement accuracy is calculated as follows: ± 2 mm + 0,05 x (D–10). (D: measuring distance, unit: m).
If you take measurements with poorly reflective targets or very rough surfaces, if the ambient temperature is too high or too low, or if the ambient brightness is too high, for example when taking measurements in direct sunlight, the deviation is unfavorable.
