The difference between air conditioning and air cooler

With the hot days in the summer you can get quite stuffy. Then an air conditioner or air cooler (air cooler) is really welcome in your home or office. Especially small children sleep badly with the hot days, which means that you also have a bad night. Do that for a few days in a row and you can imagine that it doesn't get any cozier at home. Then you can always start thinking, do I want an air cooler or air conditioning in the house? But what is the difference?

10 degrees cooler?

Do you want it to be considerably cooler in your home or office? Then it is best to opt for an air conditioner. Set the desired temperature and your air conditioning will continue until the device has reached the desired temperature. Make sure there is enough insulation so that the air conditioning gets the chance to cool.

Buy an air conditioner if you want it to be considerably cooler in the house, but remember that an air exhaust hose must also be placed outside. Think of a window through which the hose fits. Small tip: if you don't have a built-in exhaust air outlet in the room. Make a hole in a piece of Styrofoam through which the exhaust air hose fits and place it in front of the window. That way you don't lose cold air unnecessarily. An air conditioner can also dehumidify.

The air is cooled by an air conditioner by means of refrigerant and a heat pump. The coolant ensures that the warm air is cooled and the air conditioning blows it back into the room. The warm air is returned to the outside via the exhaust hose.

An air cooler is the improved version of a fan. With water and ice you can bring your room down a few degrees with an air cooler. It is not possible to set the temperature as with an air conditioner.
