2. Vincent van Gogh only painted 10 years of his life. He didn't start painting until he was 27.
3. Vincent van Gogh cut off his ear and gave it to a prostitute in a nearby brothel.
4. Vincent van Gogh suffered from mental health problems that caused him to commit suicide.
5. Vincent van Gogh's brother Theo died six months after Vincent's death from syphilis.
