Additional information anti-algae:
In some cases you can fill your swimming pool or jacuzzi with groundwater, but we advise that it is better to use tap water. Chemical reactions can occur with rain and groundwater that discolor your water.
If your groundwater contains (too) much iron, the water will turn brown and a rust-colored deposit will form on the walls. In the long run, this water can be harmful to your purification installation.
Fill your bath with water, then it is important to start chlorinating. You have to make sure you reach the right pH level of the pool water. The ideal pH value is reached between 7.2 and 7.6. You can measure this pH value with our pH value testers. On average, the pH value of tap water in the Netherlands is somewhere between 7.6 and 7.8 and in many cases it is necessary to lower the pH value. You can lower this by adding pH-min to the water. You can use the pH plus to increase the value.
