Tips
The oxygen percentage in a healthy person should be more than 95%. When it is lower than 90%, there is a deficiency and it is advisable to consult a doctor.
The pulse oximeter also measures heart rate per minute. In a resting adult, this should be about 70 to 90 BPM.
